Tfue allegedly “swatted” during Twitch stream

Turner Ellis Tenney AKA Tfue was allegedly swatted during his 23rd of December stream. On the clip, we can hear an officer screaming, yelling and banging on a door as he orders Tfue to come out.

“Warrant”, “come down the hall” and “come out with your hands up” can be made out from the audio. Some other words exchanged are unintelligible.

The 22-year-old eventually returned to his desk with a startled look on his face, sighing as he proceeded to create a new Minecraft world.

While being mostly known for his playing Fortnite, Tfue was streaming his Minecraft speedruns at the time of the incident and he continued to do so after coming back. He has been streaming for almost 10 hours and has yet to comment on the matter.

Swatting is defined as crank-calling police enforcement with a specific address using false accusations and it has been an issue in the streaming community the last couple of years.

While it is a criminal offence in many countries, the search and investigation of the responsible parties can prove difficult.

We will keep you updated as the situation develops.
