NICKMERCS has become part-owner of FaZe Clan

The world-renowned Twitch streamer is now a part-owner of FaZe Clan according to a report from The Verge. Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff was already a member of FaZe Clan, and neither he nor the gaming group has released a statement on the reported deal.

Update: Nickmercs has now confirmed that he has been added to the ownership team of FaZe Clan.

Original story:

After what turned into an ugly departure from his former group 100 Thieves, Twitch superstar NICKMERCS made waves in 2019 when he signed on to join FaZe Clan. Now, without any formal statement or presser from the organization, it has been reported that Kolcheff is a part-owner of FaZe Clan as well.

In a recent article from The Verge, NICKMERCS was introduced as a part-owner of FaZe Clan, rather than just a member. With seemingly no other mention of the reported ownership stake, this appears to be breaking news.

In a recent stream working out in his gym, NICKMERCS was asked by a fan if he plans to become a co-owner of FaZe Clan in the future. While Kolcheff didn’t give a verbal answer to this question, he did smile at the camera before turning to resume his workout.

The "news" of his potential ownership stake comes at a telling time, 100 Thieves recently brought members, Jack “CouRage” Dunlop and Rachel "Valkyrae" Hofstetter, into the ownership group, an honour that Nickmercs said he was cut out of by 100 Thieves CEO, Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag.

It will certainly be worth monitoring in the coming weeks to see if either Nick or FaZe Clan further addresses the report.
