The Doomed Petitioner is a new Aggressive Frame Linear Fusion Rifle in Destiny 2 introduced in Season of the Wish. It deals Void damage and is surprisingly powerful with the right perk combinations.

How To Get Doomed Petitioner In Destiny 2

You can get Doomed Petitoner in Destiny 2 by completing Season of the Wish activities, opening Wish Engrams, and focusing Wish Weapons in the HELM. Since it's a seasonal weapon, you only have limited time to farm or craft this weapon.

Doomed Petitioner God Roll In Destiny 2

The Doomed Petitioner is one of the best high DPS Linear Fusion Rifles in the current Destiny 2 meta. It has perks similar to another high-DPS Aggressive Frame Linear Fusion Rifle, Briar's Contempt, but has two big advantages over it. 

Firstly, Precision Instrument boosts precision damage based on damage dealt instead of rounds used (as in the case of Briar's Contempt). This allows the Doomed Petitioner to trigger a damage boost quickly and deal more damage in the process. Secondly, Doomed Petitioner is easier to obtain than Briar's Contempt, which you can only get from the Root of Nightmares raid. All of this makes Doomed Petitioner a perfect choice for a high DPS Linear Fusion Rifle. 

Like Briar's Contempt, Doomed Petitioner can also roll with Reconstruction, allowing the weapon to reload itself over time. It's always a great perk to have in a LFR. Furthermore, it synergizes well with Precision Instrument, making it an ideal choice against bosses and other challenging enemies in the game.
