What Are Insured Weapons & Cooldowns in Warzone 2 DMZ?
Insured Weapons in Warzone 2 DMZ can be any weapon you’ve previously unlocked, even in MW2 or Blueprints. The Insured Weapons feature allows players to bring their loadouts into DMZ.
You won’t lose an Insured Weapon if you die in Warzone 2 DMZ without exfiltrating, but there is a cooldown period. If you die inside DMZ, your Insured Weapon won’t be usable for a certain amount of time, roughly 120 minutes, aka 2 hours.
You can also speed up the Insured Weapon cooldown by playing more Warzone 2 DMZ and, for example, extracting other items or Cash. During the cooldown period, you can bring along Contraband guns, but they are lost of death. Alternatively, you can always jump into DMZ with nothing and kill an AI to take its gun.
How To Unlock More Insured Weapon Slots in Warzone 2 DMZ
Warzone 2 DMZ players can unlock up to three Insured Weapon Slots in total. Everyone starts with one Insured Weapon Slot, which really isn’t enough to always have a gun you want during Warzone 2 DMZ matches if you often die, especially with the 2-hour cooldown mentioned in the previous section.
