The first-ever midseason update for Warzone 2 is right around the corner. As unveiled by Activision, Season 1 Reloaded will add several new features and a ton of exciting content, including a brand new Rocket League-style soccer-themed gameplay mode called Warzone LTM.
This new gameplay mode will be introduced to Warzone 2 battle royale in order to celebrate the Men’s World Cup. If you’re eagerly waiting for this mode, then here’s everything you need to know about Warzone Cup LTM.
Warzone 2 – Warzone Cup LTM Release Date
As announced by Activision, Warzone Cup LTM will be released during the Warzone 2 mid-season update. Warzone 2 Season 1 reloaded is dropping on December 14, 2022. However, it remains to be seen whether Warzone Cup LTM will be made available right away or not.
How To Play Warzone Cup LTM
Warzone Cup LTM, the limited-time mode, brings two teams of three players to Al Easima Field, home of one of the league rivals to Al Mazrah’s football club. Once the match starts, players will get special ATVs with a pulse ability to push a massive football into the other team’s goal.
The first team to score five goals, or the team with the most goals at the end of the five-minute time limit, wins the match. As we’ve already mentioned earlier, the Warzone Cup LTM mode is heavily inspired by Rocket League, a vehicular soccer video game in which two teams hit a ball into their opponent’s goal using rocket-powered vehicles.
The best part of the Warzone Cup LTM mode is one can play this mode as any Operators, as well as the fearless Neymar Jr, Paul Pogba, or Leo Messi — all of whom are available in their limited-time Operator Bundles in the Store.
Apart from the Warzone Cup LTM, Season 1 reloaded also sees the return of Mini Royale. It’s a tactical, condensed variant of a standard Battle Royale, which features compact safe zones in Al Mazrah right from the drop.
So there you have it, everything you need to know about the Warzone Cup LTM, including its release date and how to play it.
