All Game Modes Coming To Season 5 Of Modern Warfare 2
In the announcement for Season 5, Activision revealed that there are going to be three new game modes introduced to Modern Warfare 2. All of the new game modes are expansions of what is available in Modern Warfare 2, including several new features, too.
These are the new game modes that are in Modern Warfare 2 Season 5:
- Havoc
- Big Capture The Flag
- Gunfight Variants
- Faceoff
In the Havoc mode, players can engage in a riveting 6v6 experience that incorporates game-changing modifiers, such as automatic weapon reloading upon enemy elimination, moon gravity, and more.
Big Capture The Flag is an amplified version of the traditional Capture The Flag, with a larger 20v20 matchup. Further to this, Gunfight Variants, an enhanced version of the Gunfight mode, provides weaponry based on distinct loadouts.
Lastly, Faceoff mode allows players to engage in Team Deathmatch, and Kill Confirmed scenarios without Killstreaks.
When Are The New Game Modes Coming To Modern Warfare 2?
As you might have guessed, all of the new game modes will be released during Season 5 of Modern Warfare 2. Unfortunately, not everything will be available from the start. For now, Havoc, Big Capture The Flag, and some Gunfight Variants are coming at the start of Season 5.
That leaves the other forms of Gunfight Variants and Faceoff. Gunfight Snipers will come during the Mid-Season, and Armored Gunfights will come at some point but no exact timeframe. Faceoff will also be coming during the mid-season. So as you can see, there is a lot to look forward to in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.
