With Season 5 Reloaded underway, a lot of changes have made their way into Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare 2. There are new Operators that players can get their hands on, new weapons, and more added during the new season.
Although the most recent seasonal update has only just happened, there are those who are looking into potential leaks for Season 6 of both Warzone and Modern Warfare 2, thought to be the last season before Modern Warfare 3 drops. One leak claims that a new collaboration is on the way, supposedly with Diablo 4.
Is Diablo 4 Coming To Warzone And Modern Warfare 2?
Diablo 4 and the Call of Duty series are all developed under the same umbrella company — Activision Blizzard. So it’s perhaps no surprise that the two games could interact in some form. From what we have seen in recent leaks, Diablo 4 is in fact going to be appearing in both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone.
Data miners claim that they see references to both Lilith and The Butcher icons in Warzone. Lilith is Diablo 4’s main villain, while The Butcher is a particularly tough enemy that shows up randomly in dungeons. The Lilith and Butcher icons are the only Diablo 4 references discovered at the moment, so there is no indication if there will be a Diablo 4 Operator Skin.
When Will Diablo 4 Arrive In Warzone And Modern Warfare 2
When it comes to data mining and leaks, data miners can only see content that has been put into the back end or test servers. What this means is that the content they find is usually content that is coming sooner rather than later. Recently, it seems like data miners have been finding a lot of data for Season 6 of Warzone and Modern Warfare.
That’s why we should expect the new Diablo 4 content to arrive in Season 6 of Warzone and Modern Warfare 2. Whether or not it holds true has yet to be seen. After all, nothing has been confirmed directly by Activision themselves yet.
