How To Use Bloodseeker Grenade In Warzone The Haunting

Warzone's The Haunting event introduces the Bloodseeker Grenade, but how does it work?

Warzone’s annual Halloween event, The Haunting, is back for 2023. Like previous years, players can get their hands on spooky-themed cosmetics thanks to crossovers with famous IPs, such as Skeletor, Ash Williams, Alucard and more. On top of this, a number of Halloween-themed maps and modes will be available to play.

Whether you’re playing Zombie Royale or Vondead, there are numerous new items and quirks to get your head around. One of which is the Bloodseeker Grenade, a brand new throwable weapon exclusive to The Haunting. But if you want to use it effectively, you’ll need to know how it works.

The Bloodseeker Grenade has an interesting appearance, one that hints at what it’s capable of. It looks mostly like a regular throwable, with a long, black metal casing. The main striking difference, however, is the pair of black vampire wings stuck to the sides.

That’s because the Bloodseeker Grenade acts very similar to a vampire bat, in that it latches onto enemies when thrown. It also highlights them in thermal vision, meaning that you’ll be able to keep track of your opponents even in the dark. The Call of Duty blog describes the Bloodseeker Grenade as a “living grenade.”

Sadly, though, the Bloodseeker Grenade loses effectiveness when you’re underwater, so don’t try throwing it at any submersed opponents.

How To Use The Bloodseeker Grenade In Warzone

If you’re no stranger to Warzone then you’ll have no trouble using the Bloodseeker Grenade. Simply consider it to be another throwable to be used as a regular grenade, only this time it’ll latch onto a nearby enemy. Use your assigned throwable buttons to toss the Bloodseeker Grenade towards an enemy you want to keep track of, and the vampire bat will do the rest.
