Destiny 2 Eliksni Event: 'A Rising Tide' Quest, Community Goals Tracker, Rewards, More

Destiny 2 Season of Plunder is coming to an end, but before that happens, there's one big community event for everyone to participate in. The Eliksni Quarter Community Event is now live in the game with a new quest and several new rewards for players to pursue.

The Eliksni Quarter is Destiny 2's first major community event in years in which every player's progress contributes towards overarching goals. Aside from completing individual objectives to gain rewards, there are now community milestones to reach that would upgrade the Eliksni Quarter in the game. Without further ado, here's everything you need to know about the Destiny 2 Eliksni Quarter Community Event.

To begin the Eliksni Quarter event, players will have to start the 'A Rising Tide' quest in The Tower. There are nine objectives in this quest.
They are:

  • Collect 1 Captain's Coin
  • Donate the Captain's Coin
  • Visit Improvement 1: Cleanup
  • Visit Improvement 2: The Ether Tank
  • Visit Improvement 3: Comforts
  • Visit Improvement 4:Recruits

Players can get Captain's Coins by completing Season of Plunder activities like Ketchcrash and Expedition, Lost Sectors, Public Events, Dares of Eternity, and the King's Fall raid. Players can also find these in chests scattered across various regions.

The best way to farm Captain's Coins is by running Lost Sectors since they take less time to complete.

Visit Improvements are tied to Community Goals. As more players donate Captain's Coins, Map Fragments, Treasure Coordinates, Microphasic Datalattice, and Spinmetal Leaves, more Community Goals can be reached, which in return, would progress the quest and unlock new Eliksni upgrades.

Here's how much treasure the community has to donate to complete Visit Improvement:

There's also an Eliksni Charity tracker website, courtesy of Reddit, which players can use to live track the community progress and the predicted time to reach the remaining goals.
