Players will discover many oddities and secrets through open-world exploration, but many of these are learned through the main and Discovery quests. In doing so, players will acquire an array of items that often lead to these secrets, which is exactly what they'll learn in the Mysterious Object quest.
As one of the early game quests for Palia, they will discover a peculiar item on their Housing Plot for which they must inquire with specific Villagers to learn more about the item. Palia Mysterious Object Quest Objectives List
While clearing their Housing Plot of debris during a previous main quest, players would have discovered a peculiar item to add a new main quest entry to their Quest Log. However, they are to complete a specific quest before starting the Mysterious Object quest, as they are to inquire around the village regarding this mysterious item.
They will also have to consult with the Archeologist regarding this item to determine if they know something more about this peculiar item. How To Complete The Mysterious Object Quest In Palia?
The Mysterious Object quest can be triggered during the Welcome to Palia quest, for which they are to have found an Ancient Thing object on their Housing Plot. This item can be acquired after clearing the debris on their Housing Plot during the aforementioned quest, and they can show this object to Auni.
It has been known that some players can trigger this quest without the object acquired by leaving the Housing Plot after completing the Welcome to Palia quest. It's unclear if the developer has patched this bug issue, but we advise players to have acquired this item as it's needed to complete the Mysterious Object quest objective.
Auni recommends that they should instead bring the object to Jina, for which they are to find her either at Mirror Pond Ruins or the village library. Once they've brought the item to Jina, she reveals that it is an Ancient Flow Battery, for which she'll need some time deciphering what was previously used.
As such, she'll take the object for further investigation, stating that she'll forward a letter once she learns more about the discovered Ancient Flow battery. That will conclude the Mysterious Object quest in which players can receive five Renown and improve their Friendship with JIna upon completion.
Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
