Rapper Logic signs exclusive deal with Twitch following retirement from music industry

UPDATE:

In an interview with The Verge, Bobby “Logic” Bryson has confirmed he signed an exclusive deal with Twitch to stream on the platform. “I’m going to be on Twitch helping people after they’ve had a day of protesting or political debates, unwind and laugh and smile. If you want to know how I feel about the world, you listen to my music,” he said while confirming he’ll be earning a seven-figure sum while working with Twitch.

Original Story:

Logic, the rapper that has consistently made waves in the music industry with five albums to his name, is set to retire from the business with the release of his sixth record, No Pressure, and it seems he might be returning to Twitch as a result.

The 30-year-old, that rose to fame thanks to his Young Sinatra mixtapes, revealed on 16th July his decision to say goodbye to his rapping career following the birth of his son.

Soon after, streaming platform Twitch chimed in, hinting at a possible comeback from Logic after broadcasting for the last time this past December.

“Glad to have you back Logic. Feel free to drop in anytime. It's been a minute,” Twitch tweeted out.

The rapper responded soon after, giving fans a possible hint regarding Logic’s future post-music career.

“Thanks man. Have missed the community too, but it’s been good - feelin fresh,” said the rapper who mostly streamed first-person shooters like Call of Duty.

Logic doesn't hide his passion for gaming, uploading several videos to his YouTube channel, which currently sits at 1.2 million subscribers. He even had a small cameo on The Last of Us Part II.

Even in his music, Logic has dropped nods to the gaming world. For instance, in his song titled Super Mario World, he mentions Uncharted 4.

If the musician comes back to the streaming world, it’ll be a huge boost to the platform following the announcement of ElRubius continuing to broadcast exclusively for Twitch.
