Pokimane claims she "had nothing to do" with Leafy's YouTube ban

Popular YouTube content creator Calvin Lee Vail, commonly known as LeafyIsHere, was surprisingly banned from the platform citing harassment, with all his content being wiped and currently inaccessible for viewers.

Fans speculated that Twitch streamer Imane "Pokimane" Anys had issued a takedown on Leafy, as she's previously done so with other channels, affecting content creators without fully understanding the legality of the situation, something she recently apologised for.

Due to their recent confrontations, Pokimane had to come out and state she had zero involvement in Leafy's ban, explaining it on a quick tweet.

"I know i'm going to get asked this, so i'd like to clarify i had nothing to do with leafy's ban," she said while responding to esports insider Rod "Slasher" Breslau comments on the ordeal.

At the beginning of August, it was reported Pokimane was issuing bans on her Twitch chat and Discord server for mentioning Leafy and his video posted on July 30th.

In said video, which is now unavailable, Leafy mocked the streamer and her fanbase, while also claiming Pokimane censors people that look to expose her to try and maintain her image.

It remains to be seen if Pokimane is going to address the situation even further, as many are still demanding for a more detailed response.
