Warzone 2 Season 4 Adds Resurgence To Vondel: All Features Explained

Resurgence is coming to the new Vondel map in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and we have all the information you need about it here.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has expanded on a number of features present in the original Warzone, including popular game mode Resurgence. The mode was initial missing from Warzone 2 at launch, but made a return with the rollout of the Ashika Island map. Now, with the new Vondel map, more changes are heading to Resurgence.

Resurgence is very similar to Battle Royale but you can spawn in repeatedly, given you clear the conditions. With the release of Season 4, there are new features coming to Resurgence which are going to be available on Vondel. Here, we’ll go over what’s new.

New Warzone 2 Resurgence Features: Dynamic Resurgence Timer

New map Vondel will arrive with the launch of Warzone 2 Season 4, along with its Resurgence mode. In Season 4, Resurgence is getting a couple of new features. One of them is something called the Dynamic Resurgence Timer.

The Dynamic Resurgence Timer is a pretty simple concept. The Resurgence Timer will automatically adjust itself if a player disconnects from your squad. If that squadmate returns, your timer will be adjusted to how it should be. This Dynamic Timer is amazing for squads that end up losing a teammate to a disconnect.

There’s another new feature coming to Resurgence and it is called the Vengeance Icon. If one of your squadmates is taken down in Resurgence and they don’t have a microphone, normally this means that your opponent gets away with the deed quietly. That’s about to change with the new Vengeance Icon.

The Vengeance Icon gives you the general location of the opponent who killed your squadmate. It does not give you an exact location but it will help narrow the search. The Vengeance Icon is not unlimited though; it only lasts as long as your teammate is out. If your teammate is back in 15 seconds, the Vengeance Icon only lasts 15 seconds. If you take out the player with the Vengeance Icon, you will shave off five seconds of your squadmate’s Resurgence Timer.
