One of the biggest upcoming features is the Soul Capture Event, happening during the game’s annual Halloween offerings — The Haunting. In the Soul Capture Event, players are tasked with taking the souls of every player that they kill.
In every game mode in Warzone and Modern Warfare 2, players will be able to capture the souls of the players they kill. The souls that players capture are then added to their collection and can be traded in for a variety of cosmetics. This is an event that is available for every single game mode across both Call of Duty games, so it really cannot be missed.
When Does The Soul Capture Event In Modern Warfare 2 And Warzone Start?
The Soul Capture event is interesting as it’s basically impossible to miss if you are playing Call of Duty during the times the event is live. Every game mode is affected, so players can do whatever they want to get the souls they need. Thankfully, players will not have to wait too long to get started capturing souls in Call of Duty.
The Soul Capture event will start on October 17th. In the announcement, Activision said that the Soud Capture Event will happen during the mid-season which has been dated to start on October 17th. Once that date hits, kills will drop souls for players to collect.
