When Do Pre-Orders Go Live For Modern Warfare 3 (2023)?

After weeks of leaks and speculation, Activision have finally announced the next installment in the Call of Duty franchise. Perhaps to the surprise of no-one, it's Modern Warfare 3. Continuing on from the events of Modern Warfare 2 (2022), MW3 will reunite players with Captain Price and co. on more daring missions. Aside from its campaign, players are keen to get stuck into the game's Multiplayer mode, and explore everything that'll arrive with its integration with Warzone.

Modern Warfare 3 is set to launch on November 10, yet with just a few months to go we've yet to see a whole lot in terms of gameplay and upcoming features. What we do know is that a huge amount of cosmetics, Blueprints and more, will carry forward from MW2 to MW3. More information is likely set to arrive following the official in-game reveal for MW3, happening in Warzone on August 17, 2023. 

So given that we're just a few months away from the official launch, when exactly are pre-orders expected to go live? Here's what we know so far.

Update 18 August: Pre-orders for both the Standard and Vault Editions of Modern Warfare 3 are now live.

When Can You Pre-Order MW3? PlayStation, Xbox, PC

Following the Modern Warfare 3 Reveal Event, which took place within Warzone, Activision has announced that pre-orders for the upcoming title are now live. Players can now pre-order the Cross-Gen/Standard Edition or the Vault Edition for either PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbbx Series X|S, and PC via Battle.net and Steam.

Players will be able to grab their pre-orders directly from the Call of Duty website, in selected stores, or via their respective platform's digital storefront. 

What Comes With The MW3 Pre-Orders?

Pre-orders bonuses for Modern Warfare 3 are very similar to what was offered with the release of Modern Warfare 2. Players will have two versions to choose from: the Cross-Gen/Standard Edition and the Vault Edition. Here's what comes with each edition:

Cross-Gen/Standard Edition:

• Soap Operator Pack

Vault Edition:

• 5 Battle Pass Tier Skips (PlayStation Exclusive)

Previous releases saw PlayStation fans get some special treatment, such as access to a special PlayStation-only beta. Whether that'll be the case this time around is anyone's guess, however PlayStation fans who purchase the Vault Edition will receive an exclusive 5 Battle Pass Tier Skips.
