Here is everything you need to know about the Fortune Teller in Fire Emblem Engage.
How To Use The Fortune Teller In Fire Emblem Engage

The Fortune Teller is a new feature exclusive to Fire Emblem Engage. Over the course of the game, players will be able to increase bond levels with every unit in their roster. This is done by embarking on missions together, completing training exercises, or giving gifts to your favorite characters.

However, there is another way to help improve the relationships between characters in your army, and that is via the Fortune Teller. This article will explain everything you need to know about the Fortune Teller in Fire Emblem Engage, including who they are, how to unlock them, and what they can be used for.

To unlock the Fortune Teller in Fire Emblem Engage, players need to rescue Seadall in Chapter 15. After rescuing him, Seadall will open up shop as a mystical fortune teller in the lower-eastern part of the Somniel.

Players will receive a notification letting them know that the Fortune Teller's kiosk is open for business. However, this location can only be visited at night. Thankfully, progressing time in the Somniel is very easy and can be done so by simply interacting with your bed in Alear's bedroom.

The Fortune Teller in Fire Emblem Engage can give hints about which allies will give additional bond experience in the next battle. By talking to Seadall, you can select an ally and see a small tarot card. Most of this information is purely aesthetic such as the card image and the flavor text. However, the "Thinking Of" section is actually a gameplay hint in disguise.

Whoever the selected character is thinking about will have a greater chance to increase support after the next battle. The unit any other unit that can be thought of will rotate after every mission, so feel free to check back in regularly to see if any worthy pairings show up.

Although yet to be confirmed, several player reports have stated that this system favors units that are underutilized in your army or are not regularly deployed into battle. This is very counter-intuitive as players will most likely want to increase the bonds between characters they actually use. Furthermore, just because one character is thinking of another does not mean the reverse thought process is true, so increasing bond levels may still take some time.

That being said, another way to expedite the bond farming process is a welcome one!
