How To Marry Someone In Fire Emblem Engage

Are you wondering if you can marry someone in Fire Emblem Engage? We have the answers you need!
How To Marry Someone In Fire Emblem Engage

Fire Emblem Engage is one of the most jaw-dropping Fire Emblem games of all time. Combining everything great about the franchise's core concept with the unique and colorful personalities of the Fire Emblem Renaissance, Engage is the peak of the Fire Emblem series. Like other Fire Emblem games, Fire Emblem Engage has a wide cast of characters to interact and play with. However, for veterans of the series, you may wonder what your romance options are for each of these characters.

In previous Fire Emblem games, it was not only possible to pair up with a character you like, but marry them and even have children! These children could then be added to your army through some wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey shenanigans. This tradition lives on in Fire Emblem Engage but in a slightly different way. So, let's find out how to marry someone in Fire Emblem Engage!

Firstly, it is technically impossible to marry someone in Fire Emblem Engage, at least in the traditional sense. Unlike in games such as Fire Emblem Awakening, there will be no confessions of love and multiple time-traveling children in Fire Emblem Engage. However, the closest thing to marriage in Fire Emblem Engage is giving someone a Pact Ring. Throughout the game, players will be able to increase their bond with certain characters and Emblems in their army. These conversations should provide you with more than enough character interaction, but if you want to show the world just how big a fan you are of "Hiya Papaya" Yunaka, there is a way to do so.

Toward the end of the game, you'll receive the Pact Ring, which can be given to one character only (not Emblems, unfortunately. Even Fire Emblem draws the line at marrying ghosts). While this is not treated as a proposal, it is considered a commitment ring and will cement your bond with your favorite character. Doing so will not grant you anything too special - just a simple, unique dialogue line with the character you choose. Still, the Pact Ring is purely for cosmetic reasons and a way for you to show which character you connected with the most over the course of the game. Additionally, it is possible to give the Pact Ring to any character regardless of their gender or the player's

And that's everything you need to know about how to marry someone in Fire Emblem Engage! It seems like the series is moving away from the traditional dating simulator archetype and more toward powerful friendships. It's a bittersweet feeling, but we'll always have Awakening to satisfy our "dating simulator chess" needs!
