Twitch streamer Adriana Chechik recently broke her back at TwitchCon San Diego 2022 on 9th October after jumping into a foam pit, which Intel and Lenovo organized as a promotional activity for the event. Since then, the Twitch streamer has undergone medical operations and mostly recovered from her surgery.

On 29th October 2022, Adriana Chechik returned to streaming on Twitch but revealed that she’s still recovering from the accident and is regaining her strength. During the Livestream, she also showed the surgical scars she now has because of the accident. Adriana Chechik stated that she still has three months of recovery before she completely recovers.

The accident initially occurred after Adriana Chechik dived into the foam pit at TwitchCon San Diego 2022. Despite numerous others allegedly facing injuries before the Twitch streamer’s accident, Lenovo and Intel didn’t shut down the promotional activity. It was supposedly only after Adriana Chechik broke her back in two places did the activity close down at TwitchCon.

It's been nearly three weeks since Adriana Chechik last streamed on Twitch, making her recent return a welcomed surprise to many fans. However, the streamer’s latest Twitch Livestream showcased all the new life changes she’d endured, such as adapting and recovering from her back injury and medical operation.

Adriana Chechik stated that after the incident, she was sent to a “trauma hospital” with one of the “leading nerve surgery teams.” The Twitch streamer explained that eight doctors had taken care of her.

Adriana Chechik said, “[...] I was four days in the hospital before surgery because they were prepping for nerve damage, a bunch of other stuff that could’ve went (sic) wrong that they couldn’t tell from the CT scan or MRI.”

The Twitch streamer further noted that she’s still recovering from everything that’s happened, and her strength is still returning. Moreover, Adriana added that she easily loses her breath now and even finds it difficult to breathe while “holding her phone.”

Following this, Adriana Chechik said that the surgical team “did an amazing job," adding, "The stitches were inside because I’m a model, so I was like, ‘can you do anything to hide the stitches?’ So, the scar looks really [good]. The rod [the doctors placed inside my back] is about ten inches long. But I heal very fast.”

In addition to the scars, Adriana Chechik said that she needed 24-hour assistance. She can’t bend down, “shower herself,” or pick up anything “over a pound.” The streamer stated that she only started caring for necessities in the bathroom last week. Subsequently, Adrianah Chechik must wear a back brace for the next three months.

So far, it seems like Adriana Chechik is happy to return to Twitch streaming. We hope she recovers swiftly and takes all the time she needs to regain her strength after such a terrible accident.
