Pokimane Hits Back At Corinna Kopf After Twitch Gambling Ban

Twitch superstar Imane "Pokimane" Anys clapped back at fellow streamer Corinna Kopf after she was accused of being hypocritical about the recent Twitch gambling drama. In particular, the streamer was accused of formerly promoting gambling on her YouTube channel, despite calling for Twitch to ban gambling streams amid the ItSliker controversy.

However, Corinna's comment backfired after Pokimane explained that she didn't promote gambling at all. Poki further stirred the pot, asking Corinna Kopf if she needed a new job following Twitch's gambling stream ban while making a stabbing comment about her alleged promotion of "illegal crypto gambling websites."

Pokimane Makes Savage Jab At Corinna Kopf Amid Twitch Gamba Ban

This drama ensued after Corinna Kopf jokingly called out Pokimane for allegedly promoting gambling in her 2021 Room Tour and Gaming Setup YouTube video.

On 21st September 2022, Corinna Quote-Tweeted another Twitter user whose photo seemingly showed Pokimane playing slots in the background.

However, Corinna's tongue-in-cheek comment did not bode well with Pokimane, who then hit back by throwing shade at the internet star.

In a savage but sarcastic response, Pokimane noted, "Wow, thank you for the amazing suggestion, Corinna. Now that you've lost your job promoting illegal crypto gambling websites, would you like to join my YouTube editing team?"

Pokimane continued by explaining that she was not promoting gambling in the alleged YouTube video but instead had a Twitch stream of her friend, Hafu, playing.

"I'm pretty sure someone said in this video that I explained that it was my friend [streaming gambling], and I was surprised. So I was like, 'oh, what are they doing?'"

Corinna Kopf, who has publically rejected Twitch's gambling ban, later replied that she "can't say too much" because Pokimane might get her banned on Twitch.

While it's clear that the two are at each other's throats, it's uncertain whether this newfound internet beef will continue to evolve. Still, this latest drama hasn't stopped Twitch community members from chiming in with their two cents.

"I really couldn't predict the next part of the script being Pokimane and Corinna drama.
The writers deserve a raise," wrote one Reddit user. A second criticized Corinna's intelligence, saying she's "all looks [and] no brains." Another proposed that streamers fight things in a "mud bath brawl." to settle things once and for all.

While a brawl would arguably attract several viewers, it's perhaps best that differing opinions are not resolved with violence, regardless of its potentially high entertainment value.
