Twitch streamer and YouTube prankster JiDion was perma-banned from Twitch following a hate raid on Imane "Pokimane" Anys and tremendous community outrage after the ban was initially set at only 14 days. One would think a permaban on JiDion would put things to rest but instead, it appears the situation continues to spiral out of control, with Tyler "Ninja" Blevins and Jessica Blevins apparently reportedly threatening legal action against Pokimane.
Confused about what is happening and why two of the biggest content creators in the world are threatening legal action? We've got you covered.
Ninja vs Pokimane legal threats
On her 17th January Twitch stream, Pokimane called out Ninja for presumably helping JiDion avoid a proper punishment for the hate raid, and allegedly texting his "connections" at Twitch to help JiDion.
He also uttered the word "bitches" when speaking to JiDion, which the now-banned streamer took as Ninja calling Pokimane a bitch. However, Ninja quickly explained that he meant "bitches in general".
Pokimane explained on her Twitch stream that Ninja said "You can't run around raiding bitches on Twitch". Check out the clip below for reference.
Pokimane then continued by explaining: "The most I can do is text my Twitch representative about this and then he proceeds to do just that. Why Ninja would help someone evade a ban for harassing me? I have no idea."
So first off, about the "bitches" incident, Ninja did explain he meant bitches in general, and his exact word was actually: "If you are going to ratio bitches, and that's not" then JiDion got up from his chair and screamed. Ninja then explained to JiDion that he meant "bitches in general". Check out the video for reference below.
So now, we get to the threats of legal action. Pokimane claimed that Ninja allegedly texted his "Twitch representative" on stream to help JiDion.
Pokimane states: "Why Ninja would help someone evade a ban for harassing me? I have no idea, I genuinely don’t know."
In the early hours of the morning on 18th January (UTC) Pokimane shared a screenshot of a private message from Ninja's wife, Jessica Blevins, where Jessica noted they are "considering everything defamation of character at this point and are getting our legal team involved."

Pokimane followed up by explaining: "I think Jessica is trying to say that Ninja PRETENDED to text his twitch representative, which I’m willing to accept and cannot disprove. I just wanted the clip out there to show what happened."
This is a developing story and we will endeavour to update our readers on the topic. Please note that at the time of writing, no legal action appears to have been taken on either side.
