Twitch streamer Dimitri "Greekgodx" Antonatos, otherwise known as Greek, was hit with his third Twitch ban recently after making controversial comments about what he expects of women he dates. Accordingly, many members of the streaming community found his remarks inflammatory and sexist, which arguably led Twitch to take action.
Twitch bans Greekgodx after sexist rant about women
These speculations came after the Twitch star made it overtly clear that women who want to date him, particularly female streamers, would need to resign from their careers to cook and clean after him while raising their kids.

"If you want to date me [...] streaming is over for you; your career is done. I will stream while you cook for me and clean for me, and you look after the children, while I gain all the money and I give it to you and the children for a healthy, secure life," Greek said.
The streamer continued, "I'm going to sit here and earn all the money; you're going to be in the kitchen, cooking, cleaning, and making sure my home is f*cking clean, and I'm going to make sure that we have money so that we have a home and you have a place to sleep at night."
Greek's naturally inflammatory statement raised many hairs, to which he responded on Twitter. "I seem to have offended some people because I wanted a traditional relationship," he said. "Listen, if you can make more money than me, I will happily cook and clean for you and raise our kids. It works both ways," Greek clarified.
Other internet users speculated that Greek was not banned for his sexist rant at all but was instead suspended for twerking on stream. Indeed, Greek himself noted in a Tweet how he was a "naughty boy" for twerking on stream.
I have been a naughty boy no more twerking from me! Sorry boys ill keep that type of content for ticktok! https://t.co/w47OHogkKo— Dimitri (@Greekgodx) June 28, 2022
Still, without an official statement from Twitch, there is no telling how long Greek's ban will last; however, since he is still a partnered streamer on Twitch and considering this is his first infraction this year, he will likely resume streaming soon.
