UPDATE: InvaderVie has now apologised to her fans - more on that story here.
Becoming a streamer is a tough business and with the COVID-19 pandemic affecting millions of workers, some broadcasters are taking a hit in their subcounts.
While donating money to content creators on Twitch is completely optional, some streamers forget this, with InvadierVie being the last example.
During one of her recent streams, Invader reprimanded users that didn't pay the subscription fee - usually around $5 - since according to her "it doesn't matter how broke you are broke, if you have time to watch Twitch, you have ten dollars."
InavderVie is a popular Just Chatting Twitch streamer.
Clearly unaware of what being unemployed during a global pandemic really entails.

The streamer didn't stop there, as she proceeded to call viewers "irresponsible with their money" by not being able to support the entertainment they enjoy.

This isn't the first time a streamer tries to guilt-trip viewers into subbing, with Badbunny's rant at the start of the year being the most famous example of this practice.
This prompted gaming icon Tyler "Ninja" Blevins to speak up about this current trend on social media which sees content creators spark controversies like these to gain a huge increase in followers and income.

According to Creator Hype, Badbunny increased her numbers exponentially in the weeks after she became infamous for her clip berating users that didn't donate to the stream.
