Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has undergone a decent amount of changes over the few seasons since launch last November. With each new season of the game, there has been a variety of guns introduced with some having broken the meta. The KV Broadside was a gun that absolutely dominated, though it probably shouldn’t have.
Naturally, the KV Broadside has suffered some nerfs like other guns that have been too strong in Seasons 2, 3, and 4. But despite that, the KV Broadside is still a great gun to run — you just need the right loadout and you’ll be dominating matches like before. Here, we will go over the best KV Broadside loadout for Season 5 of Warzone 2.
Update 9 August: The following loadout utilizes successful builds from previous seasons. We'll update this page throughout Warzone 2 Season 5 to reflect the state of the game.
Warzone 2 Best KV Broadside Loadout For Season 5
One thing that you need to get in your head is to not use the Dragons Breath ammunition. The Dragons Breath ammunition got hit at all ranges in Warzone 2 and it will not output the amount of damage you need to make up for the Broadside’s other stats. Despite that, we still recommend the KV Broadside shotgun, and here is the best loadout for this weapon:
- Barrel – Gunner D20
- Laser – Point-G3P 04
- Bolt – Dashbolt 60
- Stock – VLK Stockless
- Muzzle – SA Schweigen DX
Increasing your range and your mobility is the key to winning out fights with the KV Broadside. Having a good laser like the Point-G3P 04 allows you to hip-fire accurately and it is complimented by the Gunner D20 barrel. The Dashbolt 60 is almost a key requirement as it will increase your rate of fire by a pretty noticeable amount as well.
Best Perks For The KV Broadside In Season 5 Of Warzone 2
For Perk 1, you need Double Time. You are running a shotgun build and because of that, you want to get as close as possible as fast as possible. Double Time allows you to get in and out quickly. Battled Hardned is good for Perk 2 because it will reduce the amount of time you are slowed by stun and flash grenades. After all, movement is everything with a shotgun build.
For the Bonus Perk, Fast Hands is great because it allows you to throw your equipment quickly and get right back on your shotgun. You’ll hardly want to let your shotgun go and fast hands will allow for that. Ghost for the Ultimate Perk is necessary because you want to get as close to enemies as possible without being detected. For equipment, try the Drill Charge and Stun Grenade to clear out farther areas.
