When Does Warzone Get The Modern Warfare 3 Update?

Call of Duty is going to be soon changing once again. We are in the final moments of Modern Warfare 2 as Activision is preparing the world for the launch of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. With the game officially announced, there's a lot of information about this title that's already come to light. Players are using that information to decide if they want to pre-order the game or not.

There are going to be a lot of changes when Modern Warfare 3 launches. From map changes to various movement changes that will be completely different compared to Modern Warfare 2. But what about Warzone? Is there going to be a major update to Warzone after the launch of Modern Warfare 3? We have that information here for you.

When Is The Modern Warfare 3 Update For Warzone?

For the longest time, Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone have had a similar update pattern. They have been launching new seasons at the same time to give players of both games as much content as possible. With Modern Warfare 3 on the horizon, we have gotten some updates on what will happen to Warzone.

Nothing has been confirmed but insiders are claiming that Warzone is going to get what is being called the Modern Warfare 3 update. This will change a lot of things in Warzone to integrate it with Modern Warfare 3. Insiders claim that the Modern Warfare 3 update for Warzone will happen at the start of Season 1 of Modern Warfare 3. This will supposedly happen in early December.

Modern Warfare 3 Update For Warzone: What To Expect?

The Modern Warfare 3 update for Warzone will likely include some major changes. For the longest time, Warzone had been on a different engine than the other Call of Duty games. But, with the release of Modern Warfare 3, this new game will use the same engine as Warzone.

With that in mind, Warzone will likely see some updates to reflect gameplay in Modern Warfare 3, such as movement updates. On top of that, the maps that are in Warzone will be updated as well. Now players won't have to learn the movement of two different games if they want to play Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.
