MW2 & Warzone 2 The Boys Collaboration Confirmed

The Boys collab has been confirmed for CoD MW2 and Warzone 2 Season 4.

Call of Duty: MW2 & Warzone 2 Season 4 is adding a multitude of new game maps, including the Vondel map for the latter, new operators, battle pass, and so much more.

Every new CoD season also tends to get crossovers with popular franchises, with TMNT being the most recent. For Season 4 of MW2 & Warzone 2, it’s now confirmed that Activision is collaborating with Amazon’s hit TV Show, The Boys.

Update 10 July: The official Twitter account for The Boys posted a new teaser for the upcoming collaboration with Call of Duty. The teaster suggests that both Homelander, Starlight and Black Noir will be featured.

The minute-long MW2 & Warzone 2 Vondel Map that premiered at this year’s Summer Game Fest teased a collab with The Boys series. Players can spot The Boys logo spray-painted on the side of one of the buildings showcased at the end of the trailer.

Following the release of this trailer, The official Twitter account of The Boys confirmed the collab by replying to CoD’s Twitter post with a picture of Homelander, the antagonist leader of The Seven.

As of this writing, it’s not clear what this exciting new collaboration is all about though some fans have shared interest in a Homelander Operator Bundle. It doesn’t seem too far-fetched, and this collab may also contain Operator Skins for The Boys’ other fan-favorite characters like Billy Butcher and Soldier Boy. On July 10, however, the official Twitter account for The Boys posted a new teaser, offering some more info on the upcoming collaboration. The clip seems to suggest that both Homelander, Starlight and Black Noir will be featured as Operators.

The clip also references a Call of Duty update arriving on July 12 as part of Season 4 Reloaded, suggesting that The Boys collaboration will be revealed in full at this time.
