Seagull returns to Twitch after five-month mental health break

Brandon "Seagull" Larned is making a triumphant return to streaming. The 28-year-old will be coming back as fans welcome him with open arms after a five-month hiatus.

“It has indeed been quite a while. Streams/online life returns next Thursday @ 8:30am pacific”, he announced on Friday 4th June 2021, quote tweeting his original departure post. 

The former Overwatch pro stepped away in January 2021 after going public with his mental health struggle. 

“I've been struggling with burnout/depression, don't expect to see me on for quite a while. Don't forget I exist though, and I'll see you guys next time”, he tweeted five months ago.

With over one million followers on his Twitch channel at the time of writing, fans all over the internet rejoice in the public figure’s comeback to the streaming spotlight.

The American gamer retired in 2018 to pursue his streaming career which now resumes after a well-deserved mental break.
