Rapper Tee Grizzley is releasing a video game

Update – 06/03/2019: Tee Grizzley has confirmed that Xbox players will have to wait a month to play Scriptures in the most honest tweet possible.

Yes, it's the news we've all been patiently waiting for, and it's finally been announced. Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley is officially releasing a video game alongside his album, Scriptures, on Friday, June 7.

The "First Day Out" rapper shared an update on his Instagram profile on June 2, with the game sharing the same title as the album. It seems to be in a similar vein to Grand Theft Auto or, to draw the comparison that Grizzley himself did, to 50 Cent's Bulletproof, which released in 2005.

He originally tweeted out saying that anybody who buys the album gets a free link to the game, but we have not yet found out any more about the game itself.

While fans patiently wait for more details on the game itself – including the developer, the story, the objectives of the game or literally anything, his latest single Sweet Thangs, from the upcoming album, released 3 days ago.

We're not sure whether we'll get the chance to play Scriptures, but let's just hope it's better than Bulletproof was. That said, if he's as good a game designer as a rapper, we could be in pretty safe hands.
