Playing Call of Duty Warzone 2 with friends is an extremely sought-after experience for many players, but the recent removals and additions of squad sizes in the game have fans notably concerned. This is especially true for Resurgence, which has a large number of players, many of whom are friends who want to team up but can’t depending on which party sizes are currently available.
If this has you concerned or confused as to which party sizes are currently available for Resurgence, then this guide is for you. Below we’ll discuss the current state of the team sizes in Warzone 2 Resurgence, as well as when we can expect Duos and Quads to come back if they’ve been removed.
When Are Duos & Quads Coming Back to Warzone 2 Resurgence?
As of Season 4, there are currently two maps in which players can take on Resurgence modes: Ashika Island and Vondel. With the playlists resetting each week, certain squad sizes may become unavailable, such as Duos and Quads. Here’s what’s available to play this week.
Weekly Playlist – June 21 to June 28
Ashika Island – Resurgence
- Quads
Vondel – Resurgence
- Solos
- Duos
- Trios
- Quads
During the week of June 21, Duos and Quads will be available in Vondel Resurgence. Over on Ashika Island, only Quads will be available in Resurgence mode.
This information is helpful in terms of letting players know which map to head to for Duos or Quads over the few weeks, but it’s unstable in its structure. The issue ultimately boils down to the fact that we were at the whim of the developers in terms of which part sizes get removed and added each week.
This was further pushed back on by many players and reviewers who voiced their disappointment with the way these party sizes change at the drop of a hat or swap around with each other. Many players are voicing how this makes it difficult to enjoy the game since they are now forced to play with parties consisting of random players to fill up the space.
While this is the unfortunate reality of Warzone 2 right now, we expect things to change soon as Activision continues to improve the game and give players an enjoyable experience. As always, be sure to check back here soon, as we’ll keep this article updated regarding the status of the Duos and Quads in Warzone 2 Resurgence.
