Following Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0's global release on 16th November 2022, the community has shared disparate opinions about the title: some agree that it's good, while most others have expressed their intense hatred toward the game. These complaints range from Warzone 2's horrible user interface to server issues and gameplay problems, resulting in players branding it as a disappointment to the Call of Duty franchise.
Consequently, many players have sought to review-bomb the game on Steam. At present, there are over 7,900 reviews of Warzone 2 on Steam. However, over 3,275 reviews of Warzone 2 are marked "Mostly Negative," equating to nearly half of all reviewers disliking publisher Activision's latest title. That said, many of these reviews provided solid, concise points, chewing at Warzone 2's glaring faults and imperfections while highlighting some of the rather interesting elements of the game.
Although it's tremendously difficult to distinguish reviews that are honestly placed from the rather disingenuous "sh*tposters" seeking to drag Warzone 2 down with the community, most of the remarks also put the spotlight on some pretty concerning issues. For example, multiple reviews acknowledge that Warzone 2 has a bunch of bugs and glitches that cause players to feel frustrated because of the endless crashes and poor performance experienced both in-game and within the client.
In addition, some other mentionable disliked aspects of Warzone 2 include the game's horrendous user interface, matchmaking, phone number requirement, and gameplay, with one player stating that the "menu feels like a mobile game."

Other reviewers note that although it's a free-to-play game, these issues are understandable and will most likely be fixed within the following weeks. Noteworthy, no matter how massive or small the company behind it, every game will seemingly always face issues at launch—and usually, it's only until the following month after release that games like Warzone 2 perform and feel better to play.
In saying so, it's uncertain whether these reviews will start shifting toward a more positive light. If Activision fixes these problems and many more that players are encountering. However, until this transpires, it seems a lot more work needs to be done to make Warzone 2 a playable and enjoyable game for many.
