The much-awaited Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 update is here with a wealth of fresh features and content. Among the highlights of the recent update are the Ashika Island Resurgence map, the Personal Watercraft vehicle, and significant modifications to the Gulag and looting systems, along with various other enhancements.

Besides this, Season 2 brought a new melee weapon called Dual Kodachis, a powerful melee weapon that can quickly move toward the target with a longer-range attack. With that said, here's a comprehensive guide on how to unlock the Dual Kodachis melee weapon in Warzone 2 Season 2.

The Dual Kodachis melee weapon is a part of the Season 2 battle pass in Warzone 2. There are two main paths from B1 to B13 — whichever one you take; you'll unlock the Dual Kodachis melee weapon and the glorious Hutch’s “Vengeful Dragon” Operator Skin. As is tradition, the KV Broadside shotgun is a part of the free sectors in the battle pass. Therefore, there's no need to spend any money to unlock the weapon.

In Season 02, the battle pass is structured as a map composed of 20 Sectors, with each Sector containing five distinct items. To acquire these items, players must advance through various levels and earn Tokens. These Tokens can be redeemed to either unlock a new Sector that is adjacent to the current one or acquire additional items in the Sector they are currently in.

Dual Kodachis have a remarkable reach and a faster forward motion when striking enemies in comparison to the Knife melee weapon. However, the benefit of the extended range comes at the expense of slower strafing and sprinting speeds.
