If you’re wondering where you can find Nuclear Rods in Warzone 2 DMZ, then your search ends here. Finding Nuclear Rods is essential to complete DMZ missions like Going Green or Irradiated Waters.
However, the game won’t tell you their exact locations, which is why many players are having a hard time completing these DMZ missions. If you’re also in the same boat, worry not, as we’ve got you covered with all the essential steps you need to follow in order to obtain Nuclear Rods in DMZ.
How To Get Nuclear Rods In Warzone 2 DMZ
There are mainly two ways to obtain Nuclear Rods in DMZ:
- Complete Secure Nuclear Materials contracts
- Explore certain areas on the DMZ maps
Complete Secure Nuclear Materials contracts
To complete Secure Nuclear Materials contracts, you’ll need to locate and open caches that contain not only Nuclear Fuel Rods but also other valuable loot. Each contract offers the opportunity to find up to four Nuclear Fuel Rods.
To initiate a contract, search for a phone with a circular radioactive symbol on it. Once found, equip yourself with a Geiger Counter that will assist in locating the caches. The Geiger Counter will beep rapidly and display higher numbers as you approach a cache.
Upon discovering a cache, interact with it to collect the Nuclear Fuel Rods and any other items present. If you already have a Geiger Counter, feel free to undertake another contract using the device.
Explore certain areas on the DMZ maps
Additionally, there are areas within the DMZ maps where radiation levels remain high due to the nuclear war. These areas include locations such as Koschei Complex, Building 21, Chemical Plant, Information Exchange, External Ops, Factory, and Barracks.
You may come across Nuclear Fuel Rods in these locations, sometimes easily visible or concealed behind objects. They can be spotted by their green glow and distinct clicking sound. However, it’s important to be cautious as they also emit radiation, which can be harmful if you’re exposed for prolonged periods.
