Due to the XP glitch in Texas Chain Saw Massacre, some players are losing levels or staying at the same level even after spending their experience points on Victim characters. This is, of course, frustrating for those who have spent significant time and energy leveling up their characters and saving up XP. As a result, many are wondering if there's a resolution to this ongoing problem or if they're stuck with the loss of progress.

Thankfully, developers have noted this issue and presented a simple fix for players. Here's what we know so far about how to fix the pesky XP glitch in Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

Developers acknowledged the XP glitch problem on Twitter, suggesting that players uninstall and reinstall the game to avoid dealing with the XP glitch if it's bothering them. If you're on PC, this may resolve the bug for you, allowing you to spend your XP properly and gain back that progress on characters.

However, they also acknowledged that this fix doesn't seem to work on console, leaving console players to wait for a fix.

Developers state that they're "currently working on a final fix," meaning that once this solution hits live servers, players should not face the issue again.

Texas Chain Saw players facing the XP glitch will no doubt be frustrated that their XP seems to be simply disappearing into the void after they spend it, but developers are diligently working on a fix. As soon as the bug is fixed, players should be able to update their games in order to get rid of it for good.

Since Texas Chain Saw Massacre is a brand-new game, it makes sense that there are still a few bugs, even after developers' several technical tests. These issues and glitches will likely be ironed out in the following weeks as more players report what they're facing.
