Twitch Streamer Mattdamnit Fires Shots At Intruder During Livestream

Most Twitch Livestreams are relatively predictable, typically involving streamers playing their favorite games and engaging in debates or casual banter with their audience on Just Chatting. However, sometimes, things can get a little heated or dicey.

For example, in late August 2022, a small Twitch streamer turned heads after having sexual intercourse during a Livestream. A few months before that, a different streamer was choked out by a random stranger while exploring Amsterdam.

While these incidents are merely a fraction of the crazy incidents we've reported previously, this latest incident is perhaps the most startling yet.

Mattdamnit Supposedly Shoots Invader During Twitch Livestream

On 23 October 2022, small Twitch streamer MattDamnit was forced to respond to what was supposedly a home invasion during a game of League of Legends. As the stream continued to broadcast to viewers watching, MattDamnit apparently drew his firearm and proceeded to fire several shots at the intruder.

While MattDamnit's webcam did not capture video footage of the ordeal, sounds of what can only be described as gunshots could be heard through his microphone. From what we can tell, it sounded like at least four gunshots were fired. The clip was later posted on the LivestreamFails subreddit, quickly amassing thousands of comments and upvotes.

The incident occurred roughly 8 minutes into his Twitch Livestream, at which point MattDamnit could be seen getting up from his seat to (presumably) confront the intruder. The stream continued for over an hour before sirens could be heard in the distance. MattDamnit later returned with what sounded like the police and abruptly ended the broadcast.

Unfortunately, MattDamnit has not provided any updates regarding the incident on any of his social media accounts. He has also not streamed on Twitch since the incident occurred. We have attempted to reach out to MattDamnit on Twitter for comment.
