Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is a pretty big improvement over the original Warzone. The developers are stamping out cheating a lot faster these days so players can enjoy all game modes much more fairly than before. This is especially nice when you are enjoying some of the newer content introduced in Warzone 2, like DMZ.
In DMZ, players can loot the map and try to survive with what they’ve got. They can go to Dead Drops to complete missions or try to be the last man standing. DMZ is a great game mode but how many people can be in a DMZ lobby? Down below, we will answer that question for you.
How Many Players Can Be In A DMZ Lobby?
In Warzone 2, DMZ matches will have fewer players than standard Warzone matches. That is because the objective of the game is entirely different, with players focused on exfilling and looting rather than trying to wipe out everyone. Breaking it down further, the lobby size per DMZ game is dependent on the map you are on.
For Al Mazrah, the lobby size for DMZ is 66. Al Mazrah is the biggest map in Warzone 2, so it needs a lot more players to populate the game. For Ashika Island and Vondel, the lobby size for DMZ is 18 players. The lobby size is a lot smaller than Al Mazrah just due to the fact that these are smaller maps. Players can play solo, duo, or in a squad of three in DMZ.
Important Notes On Player Population For DMZ
There are some important notes that players should be aware of regarding DMZ. Using Al Mazrah for example, you are likely not going to be seeing 66 players when you are in the lobby. AI will also populate the DMZ game along with other players. So there will be always something that is trying to take you down during your DMZ games.
On top of that, DMZ lobbies tend to not start at the same time. What this means is that there are people constantly coming and going from DMZ lobbies. You might enter a DMZ game and someone is already exfilling out of the lobby. So there is going to be a constant flow of people coming in and out of the DMZ games you play.
