Warzone developers have introduced a new Field Upgrade called the Portable Redeploy Drone, which can help players move around the map faster and smarter during a match. However, this feature is exclusive to the new Vondel map, a city in Europe ravaged by war.

This article explains everything about Portable Redeploy Drones and how to use them in Warzone.

What Are Portable Redeploy Drones In Warzone?

Unlike the Personal Redeploy Drones in the past, the Portable Redeploy Drone can only be employed by a single Operator

Portable Redeploy Drones are devices that can launch you into the air and glide to a new location. They are similar to the Personal Redeploy Drones from Season 3 but with some key differences.

One difference is that Portable Redeploy Drones are not a part of the floor loot, unlike Personal Redeploy Drones. You won’t find them lying around the map, but you’ll have to look for them in places like enemy bags, loot caches, and more.

Moreover, Portable Redeploy Drones are for solo use only, unlike Personal Redeploy Drones, which can fit up to four players. You can’t share them with your friends or enemies— you have to use them on your own.

It's also worth noting that Portable Redeploy Drones are wireless. This means that you can attach yourself directly to the drone instead of using a cable to lift it off.

How To Use Portable Redeploy Drones

To use a Portable Redeploy Drone in Warzone, equip it as your Field Upgrade and activate it. A drone will appear above you with a button prompt to attach yourself to it. Press the button, and you will fly up into the air.

You can detach from the drone anytime by pressing the same button. You can also stay on the drone until it reaches its peak height and then detach automatically. After detaching, you can face the direction you want to go, open your parachute and glide to your destination.
