Jake Paul confirms $300M Boxing Fight with Mike Tyson

The last few years have seen a massive influx of YouTube and Entertainment stars crossing over into combat sports, particularly Boxing. At the forefront of this movement have been the Paul brothers, Logan and Jake, with the latter seeming to push for a legitimate pro Boxing career.

After defeating multiple MMA fighters in the Boxing ring, Jake Paul is now searching for higher-profile opponents, and it seems he's looking to knock out another former champion. Boxing legend Mike Tyson was asked about Paul when appearing on a recent edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and the former champ certainly seemed interested in a bout with the YouTube star. Jake Paul has now confirmed his interest, and it seems a Boxing fight between the two could soon be in the works.

After it had been previously discussed that Tyson and Paul were set to hold talks on a potential bout that could generate $300M in revenue, nothing quite came to fruition. Though in a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel, Mike Tyson was asked about Jake Paul and the potential for a Boxing match between the two.

Tyson confirmed he would be interested in the fight, and stated he would like it to take place this year in 2022. The comments apparently reached Jake Paul, who co-signed his interest in fighting Iron Mike, and agreed "this year we are making it happen."

Already scheduled to fight on 6th August at Madison Square Garden in New York City, another fight by the end of the year would certainly seem plausible for Jake Paul. While Paul has a date and venue for his August fight, the opponent has not yet been named (though many speculate it will be Tommy Fury).

Should Jake Paul get through his next fight somewhat unscathed, we could certainly see talks begin to heat up even further between the Paul and Tyson camps. We'll be sure to monitor the situation closely and will update you should the storyline continue to develop further.
