The Chimera Assault Rifle has been around since Season 1 of Warzone 2. Because of that, it’s gone through a few changes over time but it’s still a powerful gun. The Chimera is smaller than a normal Assault Rifle so it can handle like an SMG with the power of an AR. The key is to have maximum mobility and control over the gun. On that note, here is our recommended loadout for the Chimera:
- Barrel – 6.5″ EXF OP-40
- Laser – 1mW Quick Fire Laser
- Muzzle – Polarfire-S
- Optic – Cronen Mini Pro
- Magazine – 45-Round Mag
Your goal is to get as much speed and control as possible with this weapon. The 6.5″ EXF OP-40 will increase your ADS speed and the Polarfire-S will help you keep control while moving quickly. The Cronen Mini Pro stock will greatly increase your accuracy and, paired with the 1mW Quick Fire Laser, you will be moving around like you are carrying an SMG. The 45-Round Mag will keep you in the fight for longer.
Best Perks For The Chimera In Warzone 2
To even further increase your speed, the Double Time perk is a must-have. Combined with the above loadout, Double Time will get you in and out of fights very quickly. The Tracker perk will allow you to keep up with enemies that end up leaving your line of sight.
For the Bonus Perk, you’ll want Spotter. You’re going to be moving very fast with this loadout and you will want Spotter so you can notice equipment before you run into them. High Alert will complement this for the Ultimate Perk so you can be aware of the enemies around you as well. For equipment, go for Stun Grenades and Semtex for lethal.
