Destiny 2 Season Of The Plunder - How To Earn Repute

Destiny 2 Season 18, aka, Season of the Plunder, is a pirate-themed season where you seek out pirate lords, battle invading pirate ships, and loot pirate treasure. It's still a Destiny 2 season, however, and like every new season, there are a plethora of new resources to farm.

The rarest seasonal resource this time around is called Repute, and you can only earn a little amount of it every week. If you're new to Destiny 2 and have no idea how to farm this valuable resource, fret not. Here's our guide that explains how to earn Repute in Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder.

How to get Repute in Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder

You can get Repute by progressing the seasonal weekly mission "Sails of the Ship Stealer" and completing seasonal weekly challenges. Sadly, these are the only ways to earn Repute in Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder, as of this writing.

While you can only earn a limited amount of Repute every week, the tasks required to get it are rather simple. Even the week one challenges that rewards Repute are very easy to complete. Thankfully this means that you won't have trouble acquiring Repute every week if you're consistent.

You will need Repute to upgrade the Star Chart in the Helm. The Star Chart has three different sections - Quartermaster, Navigator, and Swashbuckler - where you can spend your hard-earned Repute.

Investing Reptune in any of the sections will provide you with unique gameplay buffs. For example, the first upgrade of the Quartermaster section will give you slightly increased reload speed during Ketchcrash and Expedition.

Whereas the first upgrade of the Navigator section will give you slightly increased precision damage Ketchcrash and Expedition. Pick your poison wisely. That concludes our guide on how to earn Repute in Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder.
