Diablo Immortal Normal Gems Changes Unveiled

With Diablo Immortal Season 10, entitled Alchemist’s Admixture, Blizzard is introducing a new Battle Pass, more Path of Blood rewards, events, and much more. As the game continues to grow in stature on PC and mobile devices, the developers have announced important changes to Normal Gems in Diablo Immortal.

This article explains the Diablo Immortal Normal Gem changes, when these changes will take effect, and how they will boost your character's power, alongside word on your Gems currently in the Marketplace.

Diablo Immortal Normal Gem Changes & Date

First and foremost, Normal Gem changes in Diablo Immortal will release one week after Season 10 begins. This puts the Normal Gem changes release date on 22 February 2023 at 03:00 server time.

Blizzard is making adjustments/changes to Normal Gems, as they will receive an additional attribute which modifies the base stats of the item they’re socketed into. At the time of writing, the exact modified attributes and effects of Normal Gems are unknown. We will update this section once more information becomes available.

It is, however, great to see Blizzard boosting Normal Gems a bit since Legendary Gems clearly overshadow anything else right now in Diablo Immortal, as it will provide more uses for these items.

Furthermore, Blizzard has teased modification to Hidden Lairs to "provide players with additional ways to obtain tradeable gems."

What About Normal Gems on The Diablo Immortal Marketplace?

So what if you have Normal Gems on the Marketplace once this update occurs? Well, to "maintain the integrity of Wynton's Grand Market", Blizzard has explained that all Normal Gems will be removed from the Marketplace in Diablo Immortal during the server maintenance period on 22 February 2023. The developer further notes:

All current rules for listing Normal Gems in the market will remain unchanged, and these gems can be relisted in the market once the server maintenance period ends.

So there you have it, the Normal Gem changes in Diablo Immortal, when they will occur to boost your character's power level even further, and what will happen to Normal Gems currently on the Marketplace.
