There are various classes to choose from when playing through Diablo Immortal. Some are ideal for players with specific playstyles, to that end the Barbarian class is the ideal class for players who want to be at the front and centre of the action and crush their enemies.

If you are one of those players, then you're in luck, as this guide will give you a breakdown of setting up the best build for the Barbarian class. Including the best skills, Paragon tree option to choose from and much more.

The Barbarian class is considered one of the most popular classes to play in Diablo, being present in all three mainline iterations of the game. The class boasts high damage, making it extremely suited to close-range combat and crowd control thanks to its gap closers and mobility.

So for those who prefer to hack, slash and slam their enemies into the ground, the Barbarian class is for you. But like any build, the skills you choose can highlight and improve on the strengths of this class, so below are the best skills to use for a Barbarian build in Diablo Immortal.

Frenzy is your primary single attack skill and increases your attack speed for each successful hit you do. It also has an ultimate that upgrades your Frenzy skill for 12 seconds, giving you movement while attacking, stun immunity and a shield that absorbs damage equal to 20% of your total health.

Undying Rage allows you to enter a rage for roughly 6 seconds grants you invulnerability and causes all your attacks to heal you for 30% of the damage done. It also activates automatically when you take a fatal attack.

Whirlwind lets the player spin for a short burst of damage in all directions while moving at 70% of your speed. It does consume energy but refills when not being used and is the most useful skill for taking out groups of enemies or swarms.

Wrath of the Berserker has you entering a berserk rage that increases your attack speed by 50% and movement speed by 20% for 6.5 seconds. Which makes it deadly when used in combination with the previous skills.

Hammer of the Ancients summons a spirit of a massive hammer that you slam down, stunning nearby enemies and deals additional damage for two seconds after the attack.

For the Barbarian class, there are also various attributes you will need to focus on when levelling and equipping gear to get the most out of your class. For the Barbarian, you will want to equip gear and weapons that scale in Strength and Fortitude among all else.

For the weapons, we recommend The Remembered for your off-hand weapon (which allows you to use the Legendary version of the Hammer of the Ancients Skill), and The Tempest in your main hand. These will give you various perks for your skills such as extra damage speed and reach for the Whirlwind attack.

As for Gems, players will need to focus on using no0rmal gems such as Tourmaline, Sapphire and Citrine Gems, as they boost your total damage, Armour penetration and Potency. For Legendary Gems, we recommend the Trickshot Gem, Everlasting Torment and Fervant Fang Gems.

Diablo Immortal Barbarian Build - Paragon Skills

Focus on the Vanquisher and the Survivor Paragon tress

Lastly, once players reach level 60 they will unlock the Paragon Skill trees that give you extra bonuses to your stats. Every level after level 60 will give you one Paragon point to spend on Paragon Skills.

We recommend players put their points into the Vanquisher class, specifically into the two damage nodes, the Zeal node and then the wrath Node. This will give your attacks more potency and turn you into a real tank on the frontlines.

But to keep yourself alive while taking hits as you are prone to do, we suggest investing in the health node to give you extra survivability. From there, if you have more points to spend, move over to the Survivor tree to increase your health and armour.
