With the Diablo Immortal Season 3 mini update, Blizzard unleashed dozens of new Legendary items and powers as the main attraction. However, there are also new events for Nephalem to enjoy, including the Fractured Plane limited-time event.
This guide explains how you can start the Diablo Immortal Fractured Plane limited-time event, what it is, and the rewards players can acquire by completing all 15 floors.
How To Start Diablo Immortal Fractured Plane Event
Starting the Fractured Plane limited-time event in Diablo Immortal is quite easy. First, you can simply head to the game's Events tab and select "The Fractured Plane" just below Echo of the Immortal, another new Diablo Immortal event.
After selecting the event, you will receive a quest to speak to Deckard Cain in Westmarch (in his workshop). Follow the questline, visit the Curator, and head back to Cain's Workshop, where you can now enter the Fractured Plane.
Diablo Immortal Fractured Plane Details & End Date
Diablo Immortal's Fractured Plane has an end date of 14 September 2022, so we urge players to explore and enjoy it to their heart's content before it ends.
So what is the Fractured Plane event? Well, a bit of lore describes it as: "In a place like Sanctuary, even those with the utmost mental fortitude can find themselves lost to the unrelenting darkness spread by the Burning Hells. Broken. Shattered. Trapped in the deepest recesses of their mind - entering the Fractured Plane is the only way forward."
In Diablo Immortal's Fractured Plane event, players do not have their usual skills, gems, and gear. Instead, they will have a set of pre-selected skills for their class. Players will then have to find unstable gear and earn Chaos Coins to progress. Unstable gear will vanish once your time in the Fractured Plane is over.
Players can spend Chaos Coins at the Chaos Broker in exchange for Shards of Fortune and new items. Shards of Fortune increase your Fortune Rating, increasing the chance of higher-quality Legendary items dropping.
In essence, Diablo Immortal's Fractured Plane event is a 15-floor gauntlet, where players must adapt to the skills provided and items dropping.
All Diablo Immortal Fractured Plane Rewards
You will receive a fantastic reward if you complete all 15 floors of the Fractured Plane event without dying more than five times. Blizzard explains: "Out of all the Legendary items you’ve encountered during your run, select six, and out of those six, you will be rewarded one at random for you to carry out of the Fractured Plane."
Completing a certain number of floors during the Fractured Plane event will also provide Diablo Immortal players with some tasty rewards in the form of resources. Check out the complete list below.
