Payday 3 Known Issues at Launch

Known Payday 3 Issues Listed

There are a few known Payday 3 issues that the developer is working on fixing soon. None of these are game-breaking, and we've found the game to be quite technically solid at launch. With that being said, you can check out a list of known Payday 3 issues below.

• Story videos are missing audio on PlayStation 5.
• The title may crash if you try to join a full lobby via Steam shell on PC.
• User input stops working after blocking a player through the 
  social screen on Xbox Series X/S.
• Preset weapons that you cannot afford appear as “owned” if you 
  purchase a base weapon. Restart the game to reset this issue.
• Some challenges may be shown twice in the result screen.
• Players may get a “connection error” if the game is left idle for ~15 
  minutes. Just press “Return to main menu” if this happens.
• Both “Access denied” and “Access granted” audio is played when 
  shoving the correct NPC to a retina scanner.

As you can see, some of these Payday 3 issues are specific to a platform. Not everyone will run into these issues either, so just take this as a heads-up PSA.

When Will The First Payday 3 Update Release?

Developer Starbreeze Studios has noted that the known issues will be fixed in the first patch after Payday 3's launch. So, exactly when will this update be released? Well, while things might change, the developer plans to have the first Payday 3 update live on 5 October 2023!
