CS:GO superstar S1mple banned on Twitch and pulls a DrDisrespect

Following S1mple's Twitch ban, the CS:GO star has channelled DrDisrespect and hits out at fake channels.

When Twitch.tv hands out bans, the streaming service doesn't say why they banned a specific streamer. This happens no matter how big of a star Twitch bans, with a prime example being what happened to DrDisrespect. When CS:GO superstar Oleksandr "S1mple" Kostyliev recently got banned on Twitch, the player pulled a DrDisrespect, giving tongue-in-cheek commentary on the state of Twitch.

Both S1mple, and his former Na'Vi teammate, Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko has been banned from Twitch, and as is tradition, no reason for the ban was provided.

There's also no indication how long the ban will last at this point, leaving the CS:GO superstar with one option: Pull a DrDisrespect and give some commentary on the state of fake channels.

If Oleksandr "S1mple" Kostyliev tweet looks very familiar, then you've probably been following the DrDisrespect controversy.

For reference, take a look at DrDisrespect's tweet below when he got banned from Twitch.

In the tweet, S1mple also refers to his "other streams with great giveaways". This is a tongue-in-cheek hit at all the fake channels using his name in the CS:GO section of Twitch. None of these channels, at the time of writing, have been banned.

There are fake bot channels on Twitch for S1mple, Michael "Shroud" Grzesiek, and multiple other CS:GO stars, which the community have been very vocal about. These channels also use fake giveaways to lure in an audience.

At the time of writing, no explanation for S1mple's Twitch ban has been given, nor the ban for his former teammate Zeus. As with Twitch bans, we might never know exactly why the CS:GO stars have been banned.

This isn't the first time S1mple has been banned from Twitch.tv, and he has always come back so far.
