Former adult star and Twitch creator Adriana Chechik was banned on 26th August 2022 by Twitch. The popular streamer started her career on the platform in 2019 and has quickly amassed a massive following of nearly 800,000 followers.
However, it seems as though things have derailed for Adriana Chechik this week after she was recently removed from participating in the Twitch Rivals Fortnite due to a "miscommunication" between Epic Games and Twitch based on her former pornographic background.
Now, adding additional salt to the wound, Adriana Chechik has been temporarily suspended from streaming on Twitch.
Why did Twitch ban Adriana Chechik?
As of 26th August 2022, Adriana Chechik's Twitch account has been temporarily banned. Attempting to access her Twitch page reveals the following notice: "This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service."

At the time of writing, Adriana Chechik has not disclosed the reason for the Twitch ban; however, according to a post on the Livestream Fails subreddit, the reason for the suspension might be related to a sexually explicit outfit she was wearing.

After Adriana Chechik was removed from the Twitch Rivals Fortnite No Builds Event, she posted an Instagram Story to notify fans that she would instead be streaming Sekiro. She later uploaded two pictures of her outfit, the upper portion of which was see-through.
The outfit was almost certainly inappropriate for Twitch, with only two stickers covering Adriana Chechik's nipples, without which would have otherwise left the ex-adult actress's breasts in full view. Twitch has clear guidelines on sexually suggestive or provocative attire, so community speculation is justified.

The Twitch guidelines regarding Nudity and Attire reads: "For those who present as women, we ask that you cover your nipples. We do not permit exposed underbust. [...] For those areas of the body where coverage is required, the coverage must be fully opaque - sheer or partially see-through clothing does not constitute coverage."
Other skeptics claim that Adriana Chechik was banned for leaking information related to the Twitch Rivals approval process for streamers. However, it's hard to tell in the absence of an official statement from the streamer herself.
This latest suspension is (to the best of our knowledge) Adriana Chechik's third ban. Her previous ban came in June 2021 after she mimicked a sexual act with a popsicle in an overtly sexualized manner. We will endeavor to update this article as more information becomes available.
