Twitch streamer and content creator Tyler “Ninja” Blevins recently went off social media. He took a break from streaming on 1st September 2022 for reasons some believed related to mental health issues after seeming outraged in one of his streams before his hiatus. The content creator later broke his silence and revealed a huge announcement after ending his Twitch partnership, which he had fulfilled for two years.
On 8th September 2022, Ninja announced his plans to stream on Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, making the streamer the only massive creator to take on a multi-platform streaming challenge. Notably, Ninja’s plan in content creation cements him as arguably the world’s first famous multimedia streamer.
Ninja Announces Multi-Platform Streaming Plan
From streaming on Twitch and becoming one of the most iconic and well-known personalities across Fortnite, Ninja has had his fair share of transitions in the streaming world. Whether it was leaving the Amazon-owned platform to join Microsoft’s Mixer in 2019 (the service closed down in 2020) or returning to Twitch and signing an exclusive streaming partnership, Ninja has been around.

On Twitter, Ninja posted the surprise announcement. He stated, “I’m going to be live everywhere. Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, Patreon maybe…Onlyf*ns.” Additionally, the streamer unveiled that he would be live “everywhere” on 9th September 2022 at 12 CST (presumably noon).

The latest news comes after Ninja had streamed on Twitch for two years, ending his partnership, which also shows on his account. Fans initially thought he might be taking a break after feeling outraged in a stream where he played Fortnite last week.
He even completely wiped his social media accounts and renamed them “User Not Found,” suggesting there’d be some sort of major overhaul coming. And fans guessed right, but not completely what they’d thought would happen.
Despite multiple big-time content creators moving to YouTube Gaming exclusively like Leslie “Fuslie” Ann Fu, Ninja’s decision isn’t involving any long-standing contracts but an attempt to conquer the gaming content creation scene across the internet.
Some say his initial setup for the reveal, albeit it did capture the attention of millions, was in poor taste and that the “poorly acted mental health crisis thing was stupid and unnecessary.”
Although it is major news for Ninja, the way he completely went off the grid after having a meltdown seemed a bit worrying. Knowing it most likely was a part of the streamer’s marketing plan for the news reveal, it doesn’t look great for the content creator.
That said, Ninja approached this terribly. The poorly acted mental health crisis thing was stupid and unnecessary. There are big issues with mental health in the streaming community and using it as marketing (poor marketing mind you) is a stain on an otherwise intriguing plan.

Despite the “poor” marketing plan, it’s still massive news nonetheless. But will Ninja’s streaming plan prove successful?
Only time will tell if the streamer can handle the heat of broadcasting himself “everywhere” or if his decision pays its worth in the long run.
