Tyler âTyler1â Steinkamp is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch, known for playing League of Legends and even being banned from the title between April 2016 to January 2018 over disruptive behaviour.
Despite this heâs grown a huge fanbase around the title, although his Twitch subscriber count has taken a hit after taking a streaming break to climb the ranked ladder in League of Legends.
Achieving his Challenger status as a jungler in League of Legends, Tyler1 returned to Twitch only to find heâd lost 15,000 Twitch subscribers in the month and half he was away.
Tyler1 addressed the subscriber drop during a stream on 1st June, expressing comical disdain towards the âfakesâ.
He joked: âSo you canât forget to re-enable it, but you can forget about your Xbox Live membership?
ââA lot of fake f**ks here man. A lot of fakes. All these people now re-subbing, honest to God just f**k off.â
While heâs poking fun at the situation, a 15,000 drop in subscribers is a big loss - although this number will likely turnaround fast considering his huge popularity.
This isnât a new thing for Twitch streamers however, with Tyler âNinjaâ Blevins previously explaining how he lost 40,000 subscribers for taking two days off back in 2019.
