WoW streamer Beryxbaws caught watching p*rn between raids

Over the years, Twitch has seen countless "WTF" moments, ranging from users exploiting Paid Promotions to feature NSFW content on the Twitch homepage to a CS:GO streamer exposing themself to shave their genitals live on stream.

Naturally, there are countless unscripted moments caught on Twitch too, and this latest incident is no different. On 19th May 2022, small World of Warcraft streamer Beryxbaws (better known as 'Bery') was caught red-handed watching pornography while queuing for a PvP arena match on Twitch.

It's unclear why Bery decided it would be a good time to watch porn midstream, let alone during a World of Warcraft game. Regardless of their apparently poor decision, it's clear that Bery forgot to mute their microphone between their arena matches.

The Twitch clip was promptly clipped and uploaded to the Livestream Fails subreddit by one of Bery's 50-odd viewers. Notably, the video does not contain nudity or sexual intercourse imagery. Instead, you can hear sound bites of the video, including a woman moaning in sexual pleasure.

Unsurprisingly, Bery was swiftly hit with a Twitch ban roughly 1.5 hours into the stream. A notice on their channel now reads, "This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service."

While it's unclear how long the Twitch ban will last, we're sure Bery will return in no time. Likewise, Twitch didn't mention why Bery's channel was banned; however, it's likely due to violating their sexually explicit content policy.

Many Reddit users flocked to comment on the video, with the top comment reading, "We used to have a guy who'd watch porn on his laptop while he raided with us. Nobody ever complained because he always did his job perfectly."

A different user noted how this incident reminded them of the Sodapoppin Molten Core raids, "where one of his raiders were streaming on Chaturbate at the same time."

Several other users also offered up comments, either praising Bery for their "Gigachad" behavior or attempting to guess what video Bery was watching, albeit to no avail. "Can't even tell who the pornstar is. Feel like I have to hand in my degenerate card," said one Reddit user.

Nevertheless, we hope that Bery will return reformed and better educated about the type of content permitted on Twitch - or at the very least watch their porn in private like a normal person, and not while streaming to dozens of people on the internet.
