Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 Infinite Money Glitch Explained

This guide will provide the steps to get unlimited money in Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.0 and Phantom Liberty. This glitch will work on all systems if you follow our instructions exactly. CDPR has attempted to patch out multiple money glitches in the game, but this one works at the time of writing.

What Is The Infinite Money Glitch In Cyberpunk 2077?

With many players looking for cheats and other nefarious ways to get extra Eddies in Night City and beyond, it's only a matter of time before someone stumbled upon this infinite cash hack. The glitch involves you using vendors or drop boxes to duplicate items in your inventory and then endlessly selling the duplicates back to the vendor or drop box.

But remember, you will only be able to pull out the amount of money the drop box or vendor has, at maximum, to trade with. These amounts have increased a lot with the new updates. That said, the glitch works the same in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 and the Phantom Liberty DLC.

How To Use The Infinite Money Glitch In Cyberpunk 2077

So, how do you exploit this infinite money glitch in Cyberpunk 2077? To start, move all your trash in your Stash in your apartment before you attempt to use the glitch. This will be useful later, as you will need more items for the duplication glitch.

Next, choose an item you want to duplicate but ensure you have a stack of that item (i.e., two or more at least), then head to the drop box or vendor. Only go to the drop box with that single stack of items and nothing more.

While you're at it, ensure you have left your trash in your Stash at home because if you arrive with too many items, the drop box will not have enough money, and the Cyberpunk 2077 infinite money glitch will not work.

At the same time, move whatever you bought to the Junk Tab. The hack only works from the Junk Tab and nothing else, so don't bother getting creative. Once you are at the drop box with your small stack of items, go into it, and you will see a SELL ALL JUNK button at the bottom right of your screen. 

Now, things will get slightly technical, so follow along closely. The instructions are the same whether you are on a console or PC. You will have to hold down the SELL ALL JUNK button and the normal SELL button while your cursor is on the small stack of items.

In addition to holding these two buttons, you must press the CONFIRM button once. For the sake of clarity, the key combination to activate the infinite money glitch in Cyberpunk 2077 will look like this:

• Xbox: Hold down the Right thumbstick + Hold A, and then press X
• PlayStation: Hold down the Right thumbstick + Hold X, and then press Square.
• PC: Hold G + hold Left-Click and then press F *

* Note: These are the default keys unless you have changed them. It is important that when doing this, the cursor has to be on the item stack, or again, this will not work! 

When the Selling Menu appears, you can release all the buttons. Because you are selling a stack of items, you will have a slider that allows you to choose how many items you wish to trade. Now, this is important: no matter how many items are in the stack, always select one less item than the maximum.

So, if there are 99 items, you will choose 98. If there are 3, you will select 2, and so on. Then, you will confirm the sale, and the SELL ALL JUNK and JEWELRY menu will appear. It will ask you to confirm and show the amount of junk as 1 item. It is meant to be this way, again, confirm.

Once you confirm, you will notice that the vendor or drop box has doubled the items you sold to it. Congratulations, you have doubled the number of items and pulled off the Cyberpunk 2077 infinite money glitch. Now, how do you get the money?

How To Get Unlimited Money In Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0

All you need to do is buy back the items you duplicated. You will only give the machine back the money it gave you in the first place, allowing you to do this back and forth until you can take all the money it has. You can also use this glitch for crafting by endlessly duplicating the required items for crafting and selling.

This will allow you to upgrade your weapons and cyberware at an enormous rate! This will work on almost all items in the game if you have two or more of that particular item and, of course, if you follow our steps directly. However, you will have to wait one in-game day to reuse the glitch, as it must reset its money.

Note: you will not be able to use the same item again for duplication at the same vendor again, so if you want to use the same vendor again, you will have to use a new item for the glitch. If you're going to use the same item again, try it on a different vendor or drop box, but we don't recommend this.
