Cyberpunk 2077: Where To Find Monowire For Free

The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is full of iconic cyberware and legendary weapons, hidden around Night City, waiting for you to find them and start smashing your enemies with it.

Legendary weapons are particularly powerful and unique pieces of equipment which can make your life in Night City much easier.

While some will come as rewards for completing quests or beating some powerful enemies, early in the game many of these iconic weapons can be equipped at a local Ripperdoc, or, if you know where to look, they can even be found at hidden locations around Night City, completely free!

One such Legendary weapon is Monowire, a cybernetic enhancement installed in your arms that lets you use a powerful laser whip, and with proper stats, you will shred your enemies with it and cut them in pieces!

If it sounds fun, that's because it is fun, and with this guide, we will help you to find it very early in the game and completely free.

Cyberpunk 2077 Monowire Location

Getting this legendary weapon is rather easy and there are two ways you can get it, but both ways will lead you to the same location.

The first and easier way to obtain it is during a side job titled Shark in the Water, which you will get from Regina Jones.

Accept this side job and follow Regina Jones.
She will lead you to a very shady-looking pharmacy, where you will need to deal with some troublemakers for her.
Once you are at the location, don't go to fight with the enemies immediately, but instead, turn left around the building.
On the left side of the pharmacy building, you will locate a garage door that can be opened.

Go inside and you will see a metal crate.
Interact with it and you will get Legendary cyberware Monowire.

And that's it, all you now need to do is to find a Ripperdoc who will install you this powerful weapon and you are ready to slice and dice your foes with it.

If you have already completed this quest and you can't remember the location, don't worry, Monowire is still waiting for you there.

To go there on your own, head to Kabuki, a sub-district of Watson.

You will want to find Roger Wang Pharmacy, which is the only pharmacy in the Kabuki district, so it won't be hard to spot it on the map.

In order to get as close as possible to the pharmacy, use either the Charter St or Sutter St fast travel points.

Once you are there, just repeat steps 3-6 from the guide to find Monowire.

As with many early-game weapons, the damage and other stats are scaling along with the player's level, so Monowire will be useful throughout the whole game.
