Moonkin Festival 2024: Start Date, Rewards, How It Works

Not everyone has been playing World of Warcraft since the game was launched. Because of that, some repeated events happen periodically throughout the years. Some of that content is available through Micro-Holidays. Here, we will go over the Moonkin Festival in WoW and what players should expect from it.

What Is The Moonkin Festival In WoW

The Moonkin Festival is an event that was listed by Blizzard as one of the Micro-Holidays for WoW. Micro-holidays are yearly events that happen every year that give some more life to WoW. To participate in the Moonkin Festival, players will have to make their way to Moonglade.

From there, players will have to speak with Makkaw, who will be the main quest giver for this particular event. Makkaw will give players five different quests to complete, which will include fighting enemies and escorting the newly born Moonkin.

Moonkin Festival Prizes And Dates In WoW

Although Micro-Holidays can be fun, they are lacking a bit in the side of rewards. Players will often not receive a permanent prize for participating, and the Moonkin Festival is no different. Players will receive the ability to be surrounded by 5 Moonkin hatchlings for five days. After that, they vanish.

But despite the prize not being so glamorous, it is still worth doing it for the extra EXP that players might get. If players want to participate in the Moonkin Festival, they will have to head to Moonglade on November 12.
